in The Elvish Ranks
The Hobbit Realms
[ ]The Shire
The shire is the largest hobbit domain in all of Middle Earth, perhaps one of the only places not affected by the prowess of the rings. The huts are small, allowing for the size of their inhabitants. Along the side of it, lay a farm yard where many of the more risky hobbits choose to steal their vegetables from. Other than this it is quite a lush realm.

[ ]Breeland (4 sub-boards)
Breeland lays east of The Shire, comprising of four town. This is the only place where men and hobbits can live side by side. Though the population of hobbits significantly outclasses that of humans.

[ ]Gladden Fields
Home to the River folk, this is where the hobbit Smeagol once stole the One Ring from Deagol. The river Gladden runs through the small town, and otherwise this place, is very much like the shire.

The Elven Lands
[ ]Rivendell
Rivendell, or as it is known in the elvish tounge 'Imladris,' was foundered by Elrond himself. It is the home of many notable elves and the closest of the elvish lands to the Undying lands. (Númenor)

[ ]Lothlórien
The Forest of Lothlórien is a mystic place, home to the Silvan Elves. Ruled by Galadriel and Celeborn. The trees home the city, a magnificent seemilgly never ending staircase, leading off into many different chambers.

[ ]Lindon
Lindon is a land beyond the blue mountains. Lindon once was known as the place where reluctant elves lingered before departing from Middle Earth forever.

[ ]Dorwinion
Dorwinion is known mainly for its wine, it can make a wine strong enough to get even elves drunk. Not much else is known about Dorwinion as the elves here are rather secretive and conceal their secrets from outsiders.

The Lands of Men
[ ]Minas Tirith
Also known as 'the White City' and 'the city of kings.' This is where Aragorn rules from, though his travels will take him many places. The city is divided into seven levels, each 100 feet high and surrounded by a white wall. The seventh wall, the lowest, is made of unbreakable black stone. Faramir, the steward of Gondor rules here in Aragorns absence.

[ ]Arnor
Before the decline of the royal line Arnor was formally one of the greatest realms of the men. However this has been only recently reclaimed by Aragorn and is ruled by the Steward. It is a magnificent town built with stone and marble, though not as glamourous as Minas Tirith, it hosts one of the men's greatest armies.

[ ]Rohan
Rohan is surrounded to the west by the rivers Isen and Adorn, to the south Gondor and to the east the mouth of the river Entwash, to the north the river Limlight. King Theoden rules this, Rohan is most famously noted for its 'Rhoirrim', the especially skilled horsemen and warriors.

[ ]Gondor
The kingdom foundered by Isildur. The name typically means Land of Stone. And is such, a land of immense stone with the forbidden lake. Meaning death to any who enter its depths.

[ ]Rhovanion
A realm of the land of men, the great river Anduin, and through it runs part of the forest Greenwood. The city itself is quite small and would be more correctly called a village.

The Dwarven Realms
[ ]Grey Mountains
Otherwise known and Ered Mithrin. These are the last reminants of the Iron Mountains that once stretched through Middel Earth. There is an Ancient Dwarven Holy site located in the midst of these hills, though none but the dwarves know its true location. Whispers of dragons have been noted. So beware.

[ ]The Lonely Mountains
This is the mountain northwest of Rhovanion, it is the home to the decendents of Durin. The kingdom underneath the mountain is one of the largest dwarf colonies in Middle Earth.

[ ]Moira
The name for the largest underground complex which covers almost the whole of middle earth. Though under the realms controlled by Mordor the dwarves do not tary beneath. Comprising of tunnels, chambers, mines and many many dwarves. Moira means The Black Chasm or The black pit

The Realm of the Ents
[ ]Fangorn Forest
The only known land in which the ents live. A dark place at the best of times, made even more scary by the fact that the trees always seem to be whispering to each other. Fangorn is ruled by the tree shepards, lorded over by Treebeard, though don't expect conversation if you do happen to find yourself in the midst of an Ent. And never, under any circumstanses take wood from this forest.

Realms of the Enemy
[ ]Mordor
Hidden behind the black gate this is where Sauron's biggest army lay. more or less his headquaters. Its walls on three sides are mountain ranges, on the fourth the black gate. The castle is many feet high, made of a strange black marble. The rest of the buildings made either with wood or stone.

[ ]Isengard
Isengard borders the edge of Fangorn Forest. In the very center of it the black tower Ortahnc stands, baring one of the eyes of Sauron. Most of the work done by the orcs is underground, though the city of Isengard has no vegetation, it is.. aptly described as a barren wasteland. And rightly such.
